AERIAL SURVEILLANCEProtecting People, Property and Wildlife
“Eye In The Sky”
The UAVaid HANSARD drone is equipped with a state-of-the-art high resolution camera and integrated long-range communications system suitable for providing aerial over-watch (surveillance) in remote regions. Fully self-contained, and without the need for external infrastructure, the HANSARD brings long range aerial surveillance capabilities to resource poor and low-budget contexts, at exceptional levels of value-for-money.
How it works
- The drone has a high resolution camera installed on a rotating ‘gimball’, mounted under the chin of the aircraft..
- Using sophisticated communications networks the camera is controlled IN REAL TIME from the Ground Control Station, using a game-pad style controller (super easy to use – we have had Rangers up and running with just 15 minutes training….).
- The LIVE video is transmitted in real-time back to the Ground Control Station or sent via internet to another terminal, for monitoring.

- Criminal Activity
- Forest Fires
- Public safety
- Migration monitoring
- Quarantine enforcement
Note: the camera system is not a technical mandatory requirement. The aircraft is capable of full flight without the camera.
