UAVaid co-founder Daniel Ronen was honoured to be invited to the Sierra Leone High Commission in London and brief HE Morie Komba Manyeh, Sierra Leone High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, on the opportunities and progress being made implementing drones in the West African country.
The briefing outlined the scope of opportunity for drones to support economic and healthcare development in Sierra Leone, and the direct progress being made with the Medical Drone Delivery Project (MDDP) being spearheaded by Sierra Leone’s Directorate of Science Technology and Innovation (DSTI) and Ministry of Health. Other areas of mutual interest were also discussed including the further development of bilateral economic and cultural relations between the two nations.
